Ambassador of Belarus Vasily Markovich meets with Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Juris Pūce

On 10 April, the Ambassador of Belarus to Latvia Vasily Markovich met with the Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Juris Pūce.
The parties discussed interaction between Belarus and Latvia in ecological sphere. Special attention was paid to implementation of active and conclusion of new bilateral documents, organization of meetings of experts, participation in joint projects financed by the EU, including the trans-border cooperation programme ‘Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus’.
Underlined was the importance of maintaining continuity and further developing the beneficial cooperation, also between the regions, to solve common problems in environmental protection sphere.
